Jennifer Ryan, Canadian born, has spent much of her life in Seattle Washington. Having an artistic background and a love of sewing,it was natural that Jennifer's first job (being self employed at the young age of 12) was drawing cartoon characters and selling them to her school mates for 50¢ When Jennifer wasn't drawing, she was sewing...her Barbies were always very well dressed!

Off to Art School Jennifer went, earning a degree in fashion illustration and graphic design and making her way through college designing and sewing wedding dresses. Jennifer started her own business, back in '84 along side the arrival of her first child. Working in the fashion business as an artist, fine tuning her skills in advertising and marketing, as well as always creating new "fashions" for her and her friends homes.

After migrating north to Bellingham in 1992, it was apparent that there wasn't much need for fashion work, so Jennifer began using her skills as a "residential fashion designer" all the while staying self employed. Jennifer says "I love what I am doing, even though my business has taken some twists and turns, because it continues to revolve around being creative and artistic".

"I have been told that I look at the world through rose colored glasses. I do believe this to be true, and along with the true passion for my work, am happy that I can bring some of that rosiness into each and every client's life."
